Our Sensory Room is a calming, customizable environment designed to support individuals with sensory processing needs.
Equipped with adjustable lighting, tactile surfaces, weighted blankets, sound machines, and interactive sensory panels, the room can be tailored for both calming and stimulating experiences.
It is a safe space for self‑regulation, therapeutic sessions, and quiet exploration.
Adaptive Gym & Movement Studio
Adaptive Gym & Movement Studio
Our Adaptive Gym and Movement Studio is a fully accessible fitness and recreation space featuring adaptive exercise equipment, a padded floor area for movement therapy, and open space for group fitness classes.
Whether it is wheelchair basketball, adaptive yoga, or physical therapy exercises, this space is designed to keep bodies moving and spirits high. All equipment is adjustable to accommodate a wide range of physical abilities.
Creative Arts Studio

The Creative Arts Studio is a vibrant, open workspace where individuals can explore painting, pottery, music, digital art, and other creative disciplines.
The studio is equipped with adaptive tools — ergonomic brushes, adjustable easels, accessible musical instruments, and sensory‑friendly materials — ensuring that everyone can create, express, and discover their artistic voice.

The Community Gathering Hall is the heart of our center — a large, flexible space used for family events, community celebrations, workshops, performances, and social gatherings.
With accessible seating, an induction hearing loop system, a stage with ramp access, and configurable furniture, the hall adapts to accommodate events of all sizes. It is where our community comes together to celebrate, learn, and connect.
Quiet Retreat Rooms

Sometimes, everyone needs a moment of calm. Our Quiet Retreat Rooms are small, private spaces designed for individuals who need a break from stimulation, a place for focused work, or a moment of peace.
Furnished with comfortable seating, soft lighting, and noise‑reducing materials, these rooms offer a sanctuary within the center for anyone who needs to recharge.

Rising Abilities Center is fully ADA‑compliant and built on the principles of universal design. Our facility features step‑free access throughout, wide corridors for wheelchair and mobility device navigation, visual and tactile wayfinding systems, accessible restrooms on every level, adjustable lighting and acoustics, and assistive technology in every program area. Accessibility is not an afterthought — it is our starting point.
